There were a few issues such as it being quite slow and I was annoyed that it didn&#8217;t have a track for mounting things at the front but it made up for it by being so light.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We eventually carried our kayaks over the bridge (yes over the bridge) and made it to the other side.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Within this part of the river system, we were greeted by some of the most beautiful sights we had yet to see. Still and calm and mirrorlike waters, cool air, vibrant colours. Nevertheless, through looking at Google&#8217;s satellite imagery, I found us an alternate, though longer, path. On our way back, we found out that the original crossing was not very obvious when the tide was high and the tide was indeed very high.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eventually, we made it out into the sea.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.singaporefishing.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/20150808_180045-1024x576.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large Mamam Campsite and the Mamam River where through former experiences, I knew exactly where I could probably get a fish. Note that I said &#8220;a&#8221; fish. You can only get 1 fish there. Both of us had a few more hits but nothing came up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fendy very skillfully gutted and prepared the fish and I had one of the best fish dinners of my life.
